Benjamin Patz - Co-Founder, President & CEO

Prior to co-founding Coleman Technologies (CTI) in 1995, led systems analysis and advanced program work at Coleman Research Corporation (CRC) in Orlando, FL.

15 years experience in system analysis, design and testing for the Naval Research Laboratory, Lockheed Martin, CRC and CTI.

•

Graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1983 with a BSEE degree and from the University of Central Florida in 1985 with an MSEE degree.

Kirk Sawyer - Vice President & CFO

Joined CTI in 1996 after four years on the corporate staff of Coleman Research Corporation.

Spent eight years in chemical defense and aerospace systems product development for Honeywell and Brunswick.

•

Graduated with a MBA from Rollins College in 1993 after receiving a MSEE from the University of South Florida in 1989 and a BSME from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1984.

James Crim - Vice President, Federal Information Technology

Joined CTI in 1995 as first employee after 6 years with Coleman Research Corporation as Computer Systems Manager. Oversees all marketing and business development activities associated with in-house developed products and services including vehicle tracking systems, hardened electronics, software development, and long term managed services.

Ian Jones - Vice President, Network Solutions Group

Joined CTI in 2002 as a network engineer and now leads all network solution operations at CTI including sales and engineering in all geographies. Ian is an engineer at heart with network engineering certifications at the highest levels. He remains actively involved in the architecture and application of network-based advanced technology, including specifically IP-based contact center solutions.

Randy Olsson - Director, Network Engineering

Joined CTI in 1995 after 7 years with Coleman Research Corporation as Software / Network Engineer. Responsible for technical oversight and staff development of all network engineering at CTI.

James Thomas - Director, Electronic Systems Group

Joined CTI in 1999 after 7 years with Coleman Research Corporation. Principal designer and engineer for all tracking system devices.

Mike Gibson - Manager, Federal Systems Group

Joined CTI in 2003 to provide operations leadership of CTI’s Federal Systems Group in Washington, DC. Mr Gibson has over 27 years of aircraft maintenance and defense acquisition experience with a diverse mix of program management, systems engineering, and financial management expertise.

John Caplan - Manager, Federal Systems Group

Joined CTI in 2004 to provide leadership of CTI’s Federal Systems Group in Orlando and Huntsville. Mr. Caplan has extensive experience across a broad range of systems engineering including: Aerodynamics, System Requirements, Modeling and Simulation, Fire Control Systems, Target tracking.
