offers the professional and technical expertise as well as a
“Business Solution” minded vision to assist any organization in the
design and deployment of wireless networking solutions to
accommodate the broad range of communication applications today.
From basic connectivity to pervasive mobile environments supporting
data, voice, video, physical security and RFID location based
solutions, CTI is the partner focused on integrating all these
various technologies into harmonious complete solutions helping to
improve the productivity and security of your business.
CTI is a CWNP Silver Certified
Solutions partner illustrating our focus on driving technical
excellence on vendor agnostic training. In addition, CTI has been
the #1 Mobility Solutions partner for Cisco Systems in the Southeast
United States for two consecutive years. CTI is the only Cisco
Partner in the world to hold all of the following; Cisco Advanced
Wireless LAN Specialization, Advanced Technology Partner (ATP) for
Outdoor Wireless Mesh, Advanced Technology Partner (ATP) for 3200
Series Mobile Access Router (MAR) Hardware Design and listed as a
Cisco Preferred Network Integrator (PNI) for the 3200 Series Mobile
Access Router (MAR). Those achievements as well as CTI’s
achievements in other advanced technologies including Cisco Masters
certification for Unified Communications and Security make CTI the

Advantages
of Wireless & Mobility Solutions:
By utilizing Wireless LAN and
communication solutions, our customers have deployed mobile, secure
Wireless networking solutions capable of supporting voice, video and
data much more rapidly and cost-efficiently than is possible with
wired networking solutions. Also, CTI Wireless solutions offer
unique access and mobility that is not available with wired
solutions, such as data and communication systems set up at
temporary construction sites, older structures, and disaster areas.
Using industry-leading, state-of-the art Wireless products, CTI is
able to design highly advanced Wireless LAN an access to and rapid
deployment of network resources.
Wireless Design
Process:
CTI follows a rigorous Network
Assessment process in the design of any wireless solution we
deploy to ensure that the solution provides optimal performance and
meets the requirements of the project. CTI performs wireless site
surveys for WLAN indoor solutions as well as high speed outdoor
point to point and point to multipoint solutions. Regardless of
whether an indoor or outdoor solution is required, the fundamental
objectives of the assessment process include the following key
parameters:
-
Business Discovery Workshop: CTI will perform discovery
meetings and personal interviews with the project stakeholders
to determine the business requirements of the desired solution.
-
Technical Discovery Workshop: The technical discovery
includes a detailed review of the existing wired architecture in
terms of VLAN segmentation, inter-VLAN routing, infrastructure
authentication, user authentication and access control to the
applications sought over the wireless network.
-
Development of Conceptual Design: The result of the
business and technical discovery workshop is a conceptual design
document that addresses the needs of the customer from a high
level perspective. An agreed upon design concept is necessary
in order to define precise field survey parameters.
-
Spectrum Analysis and Physical Inspection: The
fundamental goal of this analysis is to (a) determine the
existing radio frequency (RF) presence of wireless
devices/networks within the facility, (b) determine the precise
design locations for the access points/bridges and (c) develop a
suitable channel plan to eliminate cross channel interference.
Wireless Product Selection and Design:
CTI employs the best
combination of vendor hardware and software to achieve the desired
business results of our customers. These solutions include Cisco
Systems, Tropos, AeroScout, Mobile Access, AirMagnet, Western
Datacom, PanGo Networks, BlueSky Mast, NetMotion and of course our
own product and development capabilities through our Electronic
Systems Group and Software Engineering teams.
Wireless Network Deployment and Project
Management:
CTI manages all
projects in accordance with our documented Project Management
Methodology. This methodology outlines processes and procedures
with proven success and significant flexibility in dealing with
unique features associated with each project.
Wireless
Capabilities:
CTI has designed and
successfully deployed a wide variety of technically-advanced
Wireless solutions for many differing business requirements.
Examples of our key projects include:
-
Outdoor Wireless Mesh solutions with focus on enablement of
process improvement for campus’ and municipalities emergency
response, utilities and cultural services such as; Law
Enforcement, Automated Meter Reading, public internet access,
rapid deployments for disaster scenarios and more…
-
Large, Complex Mobile voice and data networks for large
manufacturing and distribution organizations.
-
PCI compliance focused mobility solutions driven by environment
management efficiencies crucial to retail environments.
-
Solutions for “On-Demand” and secure information access to
healthcare professionals looking to increase efficiencies and
improve patient care.
-
